Daddy, Brother, Lover & Little Boy

They say Geminis have strong clairvoyance (Merriam Webster online - Main Entry: clair·voy·ance Pronunciation: kler-'voi-&n(t)s, Function: noun 1 : the power or faculty of discerning objects not present to the senses 2 : ability to perceive matters beyond the range of ordinary perception) and I don't know what to make of this but I realise this happen quite often throughout my life.

I was having a shower before I went to sleep last night and I was thinking about moving to Japan and start a new life and while I am supposed to be studying or looking for a new job, I was thinking of innovative ways to make money to sustain myself. I did see a lot of gaijins (foreigners) doing anything from selling knick knacks on the streets to pimping. Suddenly, I thought - Hey! I can learn how to cook simple dishes like Nasi Lemak and provide a tingkat service and advertise via flyers in the neighbourhood, and send to homes and people who are interested in a Singaporean breakfast / lunch / tea. It seemed like a good idea but hey, I always think of ideas like this but never really follow up on them.

I started flipping the pages of The New Paper on Sunday after my shower and guess what? David Turner on his column (Ang Moh In Ang Mo Kio on page 36) wrote about Tingkat!! Gah!! What are the chances of that?! I was profusely trying to remember if I had glanced through the paper before I went to shower, or any time during the day but it was impossible because we were having baby Hassan's birthday party and it was only in the late evening that I took the paper into my room, together with The Sunday Times, and I did not touch them until after the shower. You know, sometimes you come across something before and subconsciously you will think something else of the same nature later, but no - it was purely 'coincidental'.

Man, I can't tell you how many times I have had the feeling of deja vu and I was absolutely convinced that I indeed dreamt of what I was experiencing in reality. Usually, the dreams are the sort where I would not remember a single thing when I wake up.

Funny how these things work hor.
